Other Contest Guidelines

• entered material must be the author's original, unpublished, non-awarded work
  
• enter one work in any or all of the prose categories and / or up to three works of poetry
  
• please follow all requirements listed on this form
  
• Winners to be posted on the BWA website & announced via area newspapers following judging
  

Deadline is August 30, 2010
Your entry envelope should contain:

• check or money order for $15 payable to BWA (do not send cash)
  
• Contest Entry Form attached to each submitted work
  
• 2 paper copies of each entry (entries are not returned)

Contestant Agreement
In consideration for Brainerd Writers' Alliance (BWA) acceptance of my work for review in the BWA 2009
Contest, I hereby submit my entry and fee and agree to be bound by the Contest Rules. I understand that
any questions regarding interpretation of these rules, and any matters relating to the Contest which are not
specifically covered by the rules, will be decided solely at the discretion of Contest Officials. I will accept as
final and be bound by all judges' decisions and understand that winning entries will be posted on the BWA
website following completion of judging.  I acknowledge by my signature below that I have read,
understood and agree to be bound by these rules. I understand that my contest submission will not be
accepted without my original signature below, and that, under no condition, will my entry fee be refunded.
