membership. It is an awesome
opportunity to have a website.

I’m continually amazed how the Internet and a cell phone open a door to the
world from my rural central Minnesota home. I’ve interviewed people
from all over the U.S., and countries including Japan, Iraq and Canada.

I have been writing nonfiction articles for publication since the mid-1980s for
regional and national general interest, women’s, religious, business and
agricultural magazines. Working for a weekly newspaper and creating and
editing a regional magazine for 15 years improved my writing and editing
skills.

While much of my writing focuses on rural issues, I cover topics I know
nothing about — until I start asking questions. I also take photos and do
public relations and newsletter writing for businesses, chambers and a
hospital.

I’m open to challenges and writing for new publications, businesses and
