Brainerd Writers Alliance has helped and supported writers for over twenty years. We're a friendly, informal
group that encourages its members to improve and publish their work. Many current members have
crossed the threshold from amateur to working writer with professional tips and inspiration gained by
attending monthly reading / critique meetings. Sometimes it just helps to "hang out" with other writers. We
invite you to become our newest member. Please fill out the form below, print this page and mail to:

Please enclose your check payable to BWA in the amount of $10. Membership privileges for new members
begin immediately and run until September 2009. Do not send this sign-up form if you plan to enter the 2008
Writing Contest, as contest entrants will automatically be placed on the membership rolls following the contest deadline
of Aug. 22.
We'll welcome you aboard with an email or phone call and information about upcoming meetings. You will
also begin receiving member benefits, including emailed meetings of minutes and announcements about
writing competitions, calls for submission and other important news for Minnesota writers.
